iDrive 1000 goes down to 350mA
15/01/2008 - iDrive 1000 goes down to 350mA
Changes have been made to the iDrive 1000 to improve on the original design. Due to client feedback, it was felt that allowing the variable forward current to go down to 350mA would add significant value in configuring certain lighting applications. This means that now, users can select any Vf between 350mA and 1000mA independantly for all three channels at 50mA increments.
The second addition to this feature rich product is the introduction of a fourth thermistor setting. Due to the improvements in LEDs thermal resistance, we felt that an additional thermistor setting would allow the user to decide what level of protection they felt their system required based on the application and LED they use.
These improvements have meant the iDrive 1000 will be available from April 2008 in full production.
