The iDrive® Solo range offers a low cost, high PFC solution for mains dimmable and non-dimming, constant voltage LED lighting applications, such as MR16 and GU10 fixtures used in indoor, spot, decorative and downlight applications.
Ideal for high volume architectural (e.g. museums, restaurants), retail, office and domestic applications (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.) on account of the very attractive price point, the iDrive® Solo range incorporates superior patented dimming technology, as well as compatibility with a wide range of leading and trailing edge mains dimmer switches.
IST Ltd. has made it its mission to address health issues surrounding modern lighting and has developed a constant voltage driver which does not dim LEDs using PWM, thereby avoiding flicker and the associated potential health issues with such driver technology.
The iDrive® Solo CV models convert 100-240V AC input into either 12V or 24V DC regulated outputs with a maximum forward current of 2A or 4A in a compact 48W package. The range also boasts maximum efficiencies up to 84% and an exceptionally high PFC of 0.95.
The iDrive® Solo 48W CV is the latest in the range of high quality iDrive® drivers and will incorporate the same outstanding features as other products in the iDrive®range, which are distinguished from other LED drivers on the market by the inclusion of short circuit, over current & over voltage protection at this low price point. The mains dimmable iDrive® Solo 48W range is very compact at 123mm x 79mm x 35mm and offers excellent cable clamping facilities.
